A pioneer of UK late night television The Word is twenty years old. From the sublime (Television debut of Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’) to the ridiculous (Snoop Dog vs Rod Hull and Emu) to the down-right disgusting (The Hopefuls) it was always memorable. (Much NSFWness)
